Bel Power
In 2000, I joined Bel Fuse with the objective of helping them to launch a power electronics business unit. In May of 2001 we launched Bel Power and by the time I left in the spring of 2007, Bel Power was healthy, growing, profitable and booking business at a rate well over $40M per year. As the General Manager for the Bel Power group, I set strategy, oversaw the development of design teams in the US and China, lead the efforts to define new products and penetrate new markets. A significant amount of efforts was directed at M&A activities and in 2005 we acquired and integrated a power supply company near Boston, MA.
